Financial advice is fragmented.
We think that's the actual problem.
Most people build their financial life one hire at a time. A CPA for taxes. An advisor for investments. Maybe an attorney when the estate plan finally can't wait any longer. Each one is competent. Each one is doing their job. And each one is working with a partial picture — because no one gave them the full one, and no one's making sure their advice lines up with everyone else's.
That fragmentation is quietly expensive. A tax strategy that ignores the estate plan. An insurance policy that duplicates coverage you already have somewhere else. A business structure set five years ago that no longer fits the business you actually run today. None of it is anyone's fault individually. It's a coordination problem, not a competence problem.
Convergent was built to solve that specific problem: to be the one place where every facet of your financial life — tax, investments, insurance, estate, business — is being looked at together, by someone whose only job is making sure it all points in the same direction.
Your financial life isn't a number. It's a system.
We use the term Family Wealth Enterprise because "net worth" undersells what's actually going on. Your financial life isn't a number — it's a system: entities, accounts, relationships, obligations, and goals that all interact with each other, whether anyone's managing that interaction or not. Treat it like a single number and you'll optimize pieces of it in ways that work against each other. Treat it like the enterprise it actually is, and every decision gets easier to evaluate — because you can see what it actually touches.
At the head of the table — not in place of anyone at it.
We don't try to replace your CPA, your attorney, or your investment advisor — and we're not trying to sell you products. Our role is to sit at the head of that table: understand your full picture, keep every advisor working from the same information, bring in additional expertise when a gap needs filling, and make sure the recommendations you're getting actually add up to one coherent plan instead of five disconnected ones.
Where a relationship could create any financial incentive to us, you'll know about it before it happens — not after.

Ryan brings 12 years of experience advising ultra-high-net-worth families and operating-business owners — with balance sheets ranging from $5M to over $300M — across estate strategy, income and partnership tax planning, pre-transaction structuring, corporate restructuring, asset allocation oversight, and risk management. Over more than a decade, he's served as the central planning execution lead for clients navigating major liquidity events, intergenerational transfers, and business sales — coordinating outside attorneys, CPAs, wealth managers, investment bankers, and insurance specialists into a single, unified plan. That work has regularly delivered multi-million-dollar lifetime tax savings for clients while preserving founder cash flow, estate intent, and operational control.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Managerial Finance from the University of Mississippi and the FINRA Series 65 license. He founded Convergent to bring that same coordination-first model directly to families and business owners who want one person accountable for the whole picture.
Convergent is currently a solo practice, with plans to grow the team as the client base grows.
